The french market is down the marsh today. We only found out yesterday. Thanks Lambeth. This tends to cause some friction with the regular stallholders and our Manny ain't too happy - he's got his England flags that he had for the world cup festooned around his veg stall. L'Entente cordiale indeed.
But I don't mind. Next to Manny's is a guy with an unfeasibly large selection of sausages... Guess what I'm having for dinner tonight.

We had the Normandy Market here in Abingdon last Saturday. Same thing here - hacks off the local traders and damages their trade, but the local council trumpet it is an example of them helping local business.
