The Tortoise and the Hare

Ok, so we're a little slow sometimes but we get there in the end.

We've signed up to Google checkout and added a little button on the website so you can buy superstar author and ex-C&P girl Marie Phillips' best-selling debut novel Gods Behaving Badly. Go here to splash the cash.

(And before the comments come, yes I know I put an apostrophe in 'Gods' but I'm tired and it's friday and I don't know how to change it)

  2. Are you sure it's there? Can't see it...

  3. It was the last time I looked. Give it a little while to load. It's down on the bottom right.

Or maybe your browser won't allow it? That, however, is a technical problem beyond my capabilities.

  4. Hi Adam (and Marie)
I have just tried out the new facility. I'm not clear on how much the shipping charge should be, for delivery in Berkshire. Can you clarify, please? Thanks

  5. It Works! Nice work Pierre.

I made a boob on the shipping thing though so as you're our first customer you get free delivery.

  6. That wasn't the plan. You can add it to my next order. Plus, I purposely didn't say it was free because I didn't want to commit you to a bunch of orders at the wrong price. How much should the shipping have been (plus did you you my e-mail trying to order something else as well)?

  7. Pierre,

Have a look back on the site. I've put in a drop-down box with different prices for different places.

Haven't had the e-mail yet. Sometimes it's a bit slow coming through.

  8. I was also after a copy of "what was lost". After all, you can read this blog without wanting an awful lot of books. The e-mail was sent mid-morning (well, also last Friday, but I won't mention that; I suspect some mail was lost then). If you didn't get my card details from google, I can phone them through...
I'll go back to lurking now.

  9. That's odd. Did you try info@crockattandpowell.com becuase I've been getting e-mails all day including another one from google for a sale to America!

  10. And we have loads of What Was Lost. Google don't send the card details so you'll have to phone. Cheers.

  11. OK. When you click on "contact" on the web site, it says "info@crockattpowell.com", and I have been cutting and pasting that 'cause I'm too lazy to type. It must be a valid address because I didn't get a non-delivery. There may be one or two orders lurking on there...
